Service Quality of Boyai Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital in Borabue District, Mahasarakham Province
This objectives of this study were: 1) to study the quality of services provided by Boyai Health Promotion Hospital, Borabue District, Mahasarakham Province, 2) to compare the public opinions on service quality of health promotion hospitals in Boyai Subdistrict, Borabue District, Mahasarakham Province, and 3) to study problems, obstacles, ways to promote and improve the quality of services of health promotion hospitals in Boyai Subdistrict, Borabue District, Maha Sarakham Province.
This study was carried out by a mixed methods research. The sample consisted of 316 drawn from 1,500 population who had used the services of Boyai Health Promotion Hospital, Mahasarakham Province. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire. Statistical techniques used for data analysis are frequency, percentage, mean Standard Deviation and test the hypothesis by describing the personal factors. tests the t-values to test the difference between the two means. and F-test with one-way ANOVA. to test the difference between the average of three groups. The least significant difference was employed. For qualitative data, content analysis technique was conducted.
The research found that
1. The overall quality of service of health promotion hospitals in Boyai subdistrict, Borabue district, Mahasarakham province was found very high with the mean score equal to 4.06.
2. The results of the hypothesis testing showed that the quality of service provided by health promotion clinics in Boyai subdistrict, Borabue district, Mahasarakam province, classified by personal factors such as sex, age, education level, found that sex, age, monthly income, self care health and exercise were significant different at the 0.05 level. While occupation and education level had no significant difference.
3. Problems, obstacles and quality of services provided by health promotion hospitals in Borabue district, Mahasarakham province, were found that: 1) executives should provide training to promote public service as a norm in the management of the unit to achieve the objectives. and they were effective with the vision and mission of the agency, 2) they should give moral training, about the ethics of the staff of Boyai Health Promotion Hospital and adjust people to suit the job to participate in the acknowledgment of policies, rules and regulations, 3) to accelerate the implementation of all forms of public relations by organizing a team or staff, it was responsible for clear and concrete practices, and 4) the staff of the District Health Promotion Hospital at all levels must jointly conduct surveys to improve and develop them self In continuous operation, there should be a project that evaluates the performance of the officers.
