The Analysis of Impact Factors on the User’s Satisfaction toward the Sexual Harassment Recording System, PHIS, at the Police General Hospital
Previously, recording data of the sexual harassment at the Police General Hospital (PGH) had been done manually by hand writing. This leads to high time consuming and high risk of data lost. Therefore, the Police Hospital Information system (PHIS) had been introduced to overcome those issues.
The PHIS is a new-software which was used to record data of the sexual harassment at the PGH. In order to enhance the performance of the PHIS as well as the user’s satisfaction, therefore, was proposed. The research aimed to study to the user’s satisfaction on the PHIS as well as to examine related factors which affect user’s satisfaction toward the PHIS. Achieving these goals, the qualitative research method is applied to this study.
The results of, the research showed that the majority of users were highly satisfied after using the PHIS. Especially, the security, the convenient use and the context structure areas. First of all, username and password were required to login the system for data security reasons. In addition, the graphical user interface (GUI) was also designed for user friendly to reduce working duration and provide user for more convenient. Moreover, the context structure and the language are designed for an easy understanding. As a result, most users scored for the security improvement area as “The highest satisfaction” rank. Similarly, the improvement of convenient use as well as the language and context used areas are scored as “High satisfaction” level.
In addition, the research also showed that the user’s experience and the time saving were two main factors that highly affected to the user satisfaction. Furthermore, it also found that the user’s satisfaction rate trends to improve as the user familiar with the PHIS, where the significant satisfaction coefficient is 0.01
