Competitive Advantage of entrepreneurs in Samutprakan Province to ASEAN Economic Community
The objective of this research were 1. to create a competitive advantage for the entrepreneur for entering the ASEAN Economic Community,
2. to study the forms of the competitive advantage of the entrepreneur for entering. To entering the ASEAN Economic Community 3. to study the expansion of the business in Samutprakan province. the data were colleted data from Entrepreneurs that did a services business in Samutprakan province, a qualified expert, a specialist, a professor of business administration. and related agencies such as provincial administrative organization of Samutprakan province, and an industrial estate. The tools used to collect data in this research were
1. A questionnaire 2. A qualified experts focus group discussion for criticize the fozy of Competitive Advantage of entrepreneurs in Samutprakan Province for entering ASEAN Economic Community
3. A guidelines for In-depth interview to study the expansion of the business in Samutprakan province.
The research results showed in conclusion that to create the competitive advantage of enterprises in Samutprakan Province. To access the AEC comprised of three factors, to create the difference, the cost and the quick response
the model of competitive advantage were as follows.
1. The Differentiation Strategy, Entrepreneurs should make an impression on the clients. Creating a good relationship with the client. And to provide quick service
2. The Cost Leadership Strategy, Entrepreneurs should focus on the quality of the product / service that suitable for the price. Should building business alliances in various way to reduce costs. Cost controls were in all areas.
3. The Quick Response Strategy, Entrepreneurs should improve the availability of personnel to perform at a glance. Have an Information technology / websites to help in the public relations. Have various channels for information distribution and communication.
A pattern of competitive advantage of entrepreneurs in Samutprakan province to enter ASEAN Economic Community should be added The services innovation strategic which entrepreneurs could offer different values to customers.
The expansion of the business in Samutprakan province would increase. The first business to expand was Travel business because of there were variety of attractions and a result of convenience traveling. Secondly, it was a logistics business.
When the business had a competitive advantage, it would contribute to the expansion of the business. Thus, Including the ASEAN Economic Community as customers who used, service the most. Although there would the more competitor or free labor migration. All sectors of business especially Business Services should create a different strategy and look for appropriate opportunities to raise the level of business to access Asian markets. is Which specialization would be important for the race. Moreover the business should develop and create a better understanding and perception and awareness of the political, economic, and social changes that would occur to achieve the competitive advantage and sustainable prosperity of entrepreneurs and sustainable.
